How to know if I’m ready to come for a tantric massage?

Perhaps your mind will create these thoughts, tricking you into believing that there is something you need to “be” or to “do” before you come for a massage, which will create doubts and anxiety.
The truth is that your body is ready even when your mind isn’t, as our true nature is longing for loving touch, presence and connection and tantra is always starting from the level you are right now.

How long time in advance do I need to make a reservation for a tantric massage?

As we don’t work with drop in’s, it’s not possible to just show up, you will need to book a time in advance - please contact us at (+47) 48426983 or send an e-mail at info@tantraocean.no
Normally, it’s best to book at least 24-48 h in advance.
However, for couple massages you might need to book a week in advance.
Sometimes you can be lucky to be offered a short notice appointment, the same day or within a few hours, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you.

A tantric massage at The Ocean is a unique and individual experience of deepening into your sensual and ecstatic potential, therefore there is no recipe. You may come as often or as rarely as you like.
In the beginning, we recommend a session every 2nd week, but this might differ from individual to individual. After a couple of sessions, you will learn how to listen to your body’s wisdom and will know when to come back for another massage. If you to work on some specific issues, we will also give personal recommendations and we will make sure to offer a continuity in your massages and help you with your personal processes.

How many times do I need to come for a tantric massage?

How can I book a tantric session with The Ocean if I’m not from Oslo?

Remember that our tantric massage sessions are taking place in Oslo, Frogner.

If you are not in Oslo, please call us to discuss special arrangements.

Am I allowed to come for a tantric massage at The Ocean if I am under 18?

We would be happy to offer tantric massage to young people that are over 15 years old. If you are between 15 and 18, you will need a written consent from your parents/tutors.

Am I too old to receive a tantric massage at The Ocean?

There’s no such thing as being too old. We absolutely encourage you to visit us. Our current age record is 92, so feel free to explore your sensuality even at 100.

Do I need to look in a specific way in order to come for a tantric massage?

As we state on our front page also, we welcome all ages, genders and sexual orientation. Come as you are, we are looking forward to experiencing the unique human being you are.

Yes, there are other people present at The Ocean, besides you and your therapist and you can feel safe but private when coming for a massage at The Ocean. If you have special needs in order to feel safe, please let us know.

Is there anyone else at The Ocean when I come for tantric massage?

Is the therapist naked during the massage?

No, the therapists always wear a G-string (female therapists) and boxer shorts with a long (male therapists).

Is tantric massage legal? Does it equal prostitution?

According to the Norwegian law, tantric massage is legal. We are aware that many obscure studios are abusing the term “tantric massage” and they offer erotic massage and sexual services under this name. However, in our studio it’s not possible to touch the therapists in a sexual way or to have sexual intercourse and neither it is possible to buy extra erotic services.

A tantra massage at The Ocean has a very clear and defined setting, we have clear rules and boundaries that are discussed before the session and that are not negociable.
Our tantric massages allow you to meet your true sensual and ecstatic self through the touch, guidance and presence of the therapists.

Is it possible to see pictures of the therapists before I book a tantric massage?

We don’t have pictures with our therapists on the website, as we want to ensure that the massage becomes an experience of who you truly are and not a repetition of the same patterns about personal attraction.

However, all our therapists are between 28-45 years old and we chose to collaborate with them for their extensive experience with tantra and tantric massage, their empathy, integrity and work ethics.
In addition to that, they are very pretty and have a very harmonious appearance and energy.

Can I have a tantric massage if I have allergies to oil/perfumes?

We are using only natural, unscented oil and natural cosmetic products in our studio. However, if you have any specific requests, we will be glad to accommodate you.

Do I need to bring something with me?

No, you don’t need to bring anything. We have all of the facilities in our studio: shower, towels, refreshments, massage clothing, oils etc.

It’s normal to fear this exploration into an unknown territory, specially if you’ve never experienced a tantric massage before. If i feel anxious about letting someone, that I don’t know, touch me. What do i do?

Am I naked during the tantric massage?

For the best effect of the treatment, we recommend you to be naked.
If you feel uncomfortable to be naked, we will respect your wish to leave your underwear on.

What if it hurts during the yoni massage?

A yoni massage is a great opportunity to become more conscious about your body and your vagina, to release tension and to free your full sensual potential.
We have the deepest respect and love for your feminine temple in the way we approach the yoni massage. The movements are gentle and soft, and most of the time, it is not painful .
However, it happens that deep tensions and old traumas appear during the massage and if you feel that it hurts, please tell the therapist and together will find out if it is something to be explored or if it is better just to pass on.

It’s also important to understand that during the tantric massage there’s no pressure to have the yoni massage if you don’t feel ready for it. It’s also good to know that it’s ok to also change your mind during the massage and to say NO if you feel uncomfortable.

Can I come for a tantric massage at The Ocean if I am disabled?

Yes, absolutely. We had people in wheelchairs or different types of illness or life situation.
Just let us know about your situation or special needs and we will be happy to make you feel good in our studio.

Do you do outcalls?

We don’t normally do. For safety reasons and also because here, in our studio, we created a tantric atmosphere that is difficult to reproduce in a hotel room.
However, we can make some exceptions, only for medical reasons - for example if you are disabled.

What if my mind is very agitated and full of thoughts during the tantric massage?

It is normal that the mind is drifting away during the massage, or that you start to dissociate.
With time and after the first session, you will notice that it will become easier to relax and train the mind. If you would like to be more present during the massage, then you can return to here and now either by focusing on your breath (without changing it) or by focusing on the sensations in your body.

Am I allowed to touch the therapist during the tantric massage?

A tantra massage at The Ocean is the gift that you offer to yourself and a unique opportunity to experience your own sensual and erotic energy in a state of receiving, rather than giving and without feeling the pressure to perform. For this reason it is recommended that you turn your attention inwards, towards what is going on inside of yourself, and that you focus upon receiving and being completely present in your experience.

We understand the need for connection and if it’s coming from a place of respect, from a need for human contact in a moment when you feel vulnerable, if you feel emotionally touched or if you suddenly feel overwhelmed by your experience, most of the time, the therapists will be open for a hug or a gentle touch. Please ask your therapist when you are uncertain about what is allowed.
It is not allowed to touch/grab the therapists in an erotic or sexual manner and on their private body parts.

What if I get an erection during the tantric massage?

From our experience, a tantric massage can have many different expressions.
Some people might experience a profound state of relaxation, whereas others get more activated, feeling alive and full of energy. Others experience deep feelings of arousal and pleasure.
Some men get an erection while others don’t. Neither is right nor wrong, so don’t be worried if you either get or not get an erection. What is actually important is to understand that during the massage we are consciously working on awakening and getting in touch with your sensual potential.

Can I get an orgasm, as a man, during the tantric massage?

It is possible to experience tantric orgasms during a tantric massage, an ecstatic sensation in the whole body, without losing the energy through ejaculation.
Some people experience orgasms without even having an erection. Others experience multiple orgasms. However, for most men, learning how to achieve regenerating implosive orgasms require intensive training and knowledge of how your body and energy work.

The goal of a tantric massage is not the orgasm, this is just the bonus. Our goal is to awaken the heart and your sensuality and open up to life. We consider the orgasm to be a natural expression of aliveness but at the same time neither something to hunt for or to run away from.

Can I get an orgasm, as a woman, during the tantric massage? Do I need to hold back?

Tantra is encouraging women to express their emotions and to not hold back.
Whether it’s sadness, anger, sorrow, desire, pleasure or bliss, all is welcome, as all is energy that we want to express, accept, integrate.

Women react very differently during a tantric massage, and also the same woman can experience many different reactions and emotions both during the same session and from one session to another. You can also experience to pass directly from a feeling of sadness to a feeling of deep pleasure, or from a feeling of shame to freedom – if you let your emotions unfold without trying to
suppress anything.

We are encouraging you to express your pleasure during the tantric massage without shame or guilt and we will do our best to create a safe space for you.

As a couple, can we have the tantric massage in the same room?

We offer couple sessions both in the same room and in separate rooms.
However, our experience showed that it’s better to have the session in separate rooms, in order to benefit fully from your treatment. In separate rooms you will have the chance to be fully present in your own experience without being disturbed by movement, sound and your partner’s process.

A real tantric experience is possible when you focus on the sensations in your own body, your energy, mind, emotions and upon what the therapist offers you in the form of touch and energy.
If you choose separate rooms, you will have a conversation with your therapists before the session and afterwards you will each be invited into a room of sensuality and presence and experience a tantric massage with a tantric therapist each.

After the treatment you will reunite with your partner and the therapists and have a beautiful closure and a sharing of your tantric experience.

Am I unfaithful to my partner if I come for tantric massage?

Absolutely not. A tantric massage at The Ocean is a wonderful experience of deepening into the feeling of who you truly are as a sensual human being. Our sessions have clear boundaries and our therapists are very professional and with serious work ethics. You will never receive any sexual services or intercourse during any of the massages at the The Ocean. Our massages are sensual, beautiful and loving, and we have deep respect for your private life.
